Since Thorogood first partnered with Databricks around 8 years ago, we’ve used Databricks-based design patterns to build business-focused applications for leading organizations in the Consumer Goods, Health & Life Sciences, Real Estate and Financial Services sectors, and we’re looking forward to discussing why it’s become an obvious choice for us in delivering positive outcomes.

In this session, through a combination of real-life business cases and demonstrations, we’ll discuss how we’re using Databricks to help customers:

• Build a data platform that’s aligned with the business, inheriting enterprise scalability and robustness from Databricks’ Spark engine and the open Delta Lake storage
• Accelerate AI deployment, using best in class, enterprise-focused capabilities like MLflow, Databricks AI/BI Genie and Mosaic AI
• Design for the future with a platform that’s ever-evolving, supporting an open ecosystem of integrations to ensure every new business case can be addressed

We’ll begin the morning with coffee and pastries, and an opportunity to socialize and network with presenters and other attendees. This will be followed by 1.5 hours of experience-based presentations and demonstrations on Databricks, with time after to ask questions and discuss the topics covered with Thorogood consultants, Databricks-qualified ‘Champions’, Databricks staff, and one another.
