Modes of Transport:

1.) Auto Rickshaw: It’s a very convenient and reasonable mode to travel in Bangalore. They are easily available at any point and often charge from the pre-installed meters.

2.) City TAXI: This is another very popular mode to travel locally. Though it is little costly compared to the Auto rickshaws, however they are better to travel long distances.

From the airport:

Distance: 8.5 Kilometres (5.28 miles) About 30-40 minutes of driving time.

Both Auto Rickshaws and TAXIS are easily available from here. Simply take a pre-paid Taxi and ask to go towards Brigade Road (or call any one of the helpline numbers above). On route to Thorogood you will come across Diamond District, H.A.L. Road, Trinity church, M.G. Road, Residency Road, Bangalore Central Mall, and Mayo Hall respectively. Another famous landmark is Galaxy Theatre which is just at stone throws distance from us.

All major domestic airlines have regular flights to and from the city.  Jet Airways, Sahara Airlines, Indian Airlines and Deccan Air, all operate frequent flights in a day, in and out of Bangalore from all major cities of India. International carriers like Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, Gulf Air and Air Lanka also have regular flights operating to and from Bangalore.

From the Railway Station:

We are situated about 8 Kms (4.97 miles) from The Cantonment Railway station, which is a 30 minutes drive. The distance from The Bangalore City Central Railway station is 14 kms (8.7 miles), which is a 45 minutes drive.

All major railway sectors have regular train service to and from the city. There is a Rajdhani express train to and from New Delhi and a Shatabdi express train to and from Chennai.
